We are proud to have been able to endure so many moments of uncertainty this past year when we came to live in a time no one expected, the COVID-19 pandemic. Let’s take a look at what we were able to accomplish during the 2020/2021 COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the end of last year Porfirio Gutierrez has kept the well-known Tool Room Gallery as his workspace. Bell Arts Factory is excited to have Porfirio Gutierrez form part of the Bell Arts Factory Artists Family.

and a whole lot of surprises in between.
Bring it on 2021!
Despite all the adversities this year 2020 has granted our organization we didn’t want November to come by and us not commemorate Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) this past November 2nd, 2020. We managed to gather a very intimate and small group of artists, family and friends and create a magical evening. The magic was felt by everyone present and hopefully you can feel some of this magic through the pictures and videos we are sharing herewith. We hope that next year we can all be present when we open our doors to the public, so we can then again create more magic together.
Join our Instagram LIVE where we will celebrate Dia de Muertos with Art, a Catrina Procession and of course our Ofrenda.
We also, despite how ancient the tradition is, took on the task of compiling some interesting facts about Day of the Dead in order to share them with you.
Maribel Hernandez, Bell Arts Factory’s Community Manager, Studio Artist and Maestra de Arte lead the conversation with artists from the Hispanic Heritage Month Tool Room’s Art Exhibit in order for all to share a bit on how much their cultural background may have influence their art and how they maintain their cultural legacy alive.
