Make a Difference in the Life of a Child

Imagine a girl named Rosa.  Five years ago eight year old Rosa was sitting on a box after school. She was at work with her mother.  Rosa’s mom works at a store near Bell Arts Factory.

Five years ago art teacher Michele Foster crossed the street.  She went to the store to buy glue sticks.  Michele met Rosa and her mom.  Rosa’s life was changed, and so was ours.

Today Rosa is in the Youth Arts Studio at Bell Arts Factory.  She is imagining and creating. Rosa is a young artist. She has friends.  She is safe and healthy.

Michele told Rosa and her mom about our free art classes for Avenue kids. Rosa has been with us for five years.  Every week she is building her skills and self-confidence.  Bell Arts Factory matters to Rosa, to her family, and her community.

Bell Arts Factory is Rosa’s third safe place after family and school. We love seeing her growing creativity and sense of her self.  Rosa is a creative, intelligent person. We believe in Rosa’s future.  You can too.
