First Fridays

First Friday – March 4th, 2022

It gives us an endless amount of satisfaction to have been able, as part of the Galería Cooperativa, to provide the space for Sue Franco (In-House Bell Arts Factory Artist) to carry out her workshop: Las del Aquelarre – Arte Pal’ Corazón. The purpose of the workshop, which not only women but also men from our community attended and participated in, was to use art as a loudspeaker against all forms of violence, abuse and inequality.

First Friday – Feb. 4th, 2022

In exchange of a small donation obtain a

Mixed media Heart print created by local artists from our community.

We will have many hearts for you to choose from.

Your donations help Bell Arts Factory  keep its mission alive which includes:

To provide opportunities and facilities for the creation and presentation of works of art;

To support multicultural arts education programs in collaboration with schools and other private agencies and individuals;

To strengthen the arts as an essential part of the economy of Ventura, California;

To create arts and education programs that will heighten artistic awareness within the community and enrich the quality of life for all citizens of Ventura, California.

IN PERSON GALLERY: A photographic collection documenting dancers from the elegant Oaxaca tradition.
“La Danza De Los Diablos” or “The Dance of the Devils” is a project studying the history and culture of the famous indigenous danza that originated in Oaxaca, Mexico.
This series profiles the largest Ventura County group of its kind composed of +50 members: Los Elegidos de Asís, directed by Elibet Valencia Muñoz.

Face to Face Art Factory and More this Sept. – First Friday

We had a great time this past First Friday in August with a lot of our Bell Arts Factory artists opening their studios up, our vendors and DJ always supporting us in the community room and of course our community artists offering lots of beautiful art.
