Gabriela Molina Chavez, is a mixed media artist from the coastal California city of Ventura. Currently based in Riverside, CA, Gabriela attends University of California-Riverside as a 3rd-year Studio Art major.

Inspired by her Mexican culture and fascination for Marvel comics, Gabriela’s art reflects her fluid identity between her Mexican culture and superhero inspirations. She utilizes this fluidity to produce a range of works from Spanish literature to Spider-man translated through various mediums including acrylic, ink, colored, pencil, and collage.

Micheal Swank graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA – Printmaking and Design in 1998. In his design career he has been Art Director for California Tan (packaging), San Francisco Examiner (Hearst), Miller Huber Marketing, Joie de Vivre Hotels, S.F. Business Times, Disney, Dance Magazine, Pasadena Weekly, and others.

Micheal began to teach Graphic and Web Design in 2001 and decided to pursue teaching as a full time profession. In 2006, he completed his Masters in Technology from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. He led within the design education community as Academic Department Director, Graphic Design and Web Design Interactive Medias at the Art Institute of California Inland Empire, Art Institute of California San Francisco, and Associate Dean of Academics Art Institute of Houston – North.

In January 2012, after a significant car accident caused him to reflect on his dreams to pursue his art, he left his position as Dean to live abroad, travel, learn, create, and ignite his studio art. He has since lived in China, Mexico City DF, spent two years focussing his practice in Ventura, CA and in 2018 re established his studio in Mexico City DF. He is the director and founder of PRPG.mx a residency and exhibition incubator for CDMX.

Yumiko Glover was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan. She received her B.F.A. from the University of Hawaii and completed her M.F.A. at University of California, Santa Barbara where she was the post-graduate Artist-In-Residence (2017-2018). Glover has exhibited her artwork in solo exhibitions at: Brian Ohno Gallery (Seattle) and Silo118 Gallery (Santa Barbara), as well as in group exhibitions at: Sullivan Goss Gallery (Santa Barbara), PØST (Los Angeles), Durden & Ray (Los Angeles), Left Field (San Luis Obispo), Art, Design and Architecture Museum at U.C.S.B., Honolulu Museum of Art (Honolulu), iBiennale MMXIX (Honolulu) and Los Angeles International Airport (Los Angeles). Her work is featured in Creative Quarterly: The Journal of Art & Design 100 Best Annual 2014 and 2015, and CENTERPOINT NOW: The 75th Anniversary publication by the United Nations in 2021. Glover currently lives in Santa Barbara, CA, where she is a lecturer in the department of Art at University of California, Santa Barbara.
