Window Installation: Art gives you wings

Three teens started collaborating on a project for Va Por La Avendia before the pandemic broke out. Rather than be discouraged, the youth worked on their art from home under the supervision of their instructor, Michele Foster.

The title of their art is Art Gives You Wings, aspiring to provide inspiration and hope to the Avenue and all who pass by. The art is embellished with neon paint and is lit up by a black light in the evening.

Nyelia Manani age 15, Anna Richardson age 15 and Olivia Espinosa age 18 are the artists who attended our summer teen program and Saturday Youth Program and created this stunning window installation.
