Bell Arts Factory’s New Executive Director Maribel Hernández

The Bell Arts Factory Board of Directors is proud to announce that Maribel Hernández has been selected to serve as the executive director for the organization effective January 1, 2022. Maribel has been the interim executive director since August 3rd , 2021.

Maribel will head the executive responsibilities of managing our board of directors, volunteer groups, resident artists, and partners and stakeholders. Maribel will represent Bell Arts Factory in all of its professional business capacities and will serve as the main public contact and spokesperson of the organization.

Maribel has been a resident artist at Bell Arts Factory since 2006 and was hired to be the community manager in 2018. She later was promoted to General Manager of Bell Arts Factory and was responsible for managing all of Bell Arts Factory program offerings as well as coordinating the studio rentals for resident artists. She has been instrumental in developing Bell Arts Factory’s Spanish language arts programs and community-serving events like First Fridays and Va Por La Avenida.
