Va Por La Avenida continues its tradition of creating innovative programs. One of these programs is: Point of Intersection.
Ventura local artists and the business community of Ventura Avenue will engage in a collaborative effort where the artists create a limited edition of their art and the small businesses will offer these items to their patrons. This collaboration is not only a win-win for the artists and the local businesses, but also for the community members since they will be obtaining original art with a minimal purchase from their local businesses.

Despite all the adversities this year 2020 has granted our organization we didn’t want November to come by and us not commemorate Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) this past November 2nd, 2020. We managed to gather a very intimate and small group of artists, family and friends and create a magical evening. The magic was felt by everyone present and hopefully you can feel some of this magic through the pictures and videos we are sharing herewith. We hope that next year we can all be present when we open our doors to the public, so we can then again create more magic together.
Maribel Hernandez, Bell Arts Factory’s Community Manager, Studio Artist and Maestra de Arte lead the conversation with artists from the Hispanic Heritage Month Tool Room’s Art Exhibit in order for all to share a bit on how much their cultural background may have influence their art and how they maintain their cultural legacy alive.
